Well I guess the best way to start off is by telling the story of how I was named. I was the very first child and out of such excitement my parents each came up with their top name- Randy and Derek. Well… I was named Moises after all and now I have two younger brothers named Eric and Andy. So that basically sums up how my life has been.

Anyways, I am from Costa Mesa, California located in between LA and SD. I played football and basketball and high school but clearly was not anywhere near D1 bound. I love watching my favorite sports teams the Lakers, Cowboys, and Dodgers.

I don’t think prior to this year I ever had a summer break be this long so I ended up with a lot of time in my hands. The weekdays I found myself interning at my second commercial real estate firm that I hope to land a job at after I finish with college. Other than that I liked doing all kinds of things like going to the beach, pool, night hiking, taking road trips, playing sports, and pretty random things.

…And now I am at UCSB!! So life’s pretty great.
